I am wanting to upgrade my aging M225 Crucial 128GB SSD to something a bit faster a newer tech.

I was looking at the 256 Vertex 4 which appears to have double the read and write speeds of my current M225.

One thing concerning me is my Motherboard only uses SATA 2 and these newer SSD's are saying they are SATA3.

To get the speeds like it says on the Vertex 4 spec do I have to have SATA3?

Just been doing a bit of reading, for me to get the read/write speeds ie like the ones on the Vertex 4 I would need SATA3.

Ah well :(
