Catch it and put it elsewhere.

Only social degenerates feel the need to kill/maim/injure defenceless insects.
 
Go with the option that means you aren't killing the spider unnecessarily and aren't being a wuss about it. If that option could also involve making a slightly more informative thread title then everyone's a winner.
 
C, catch it in my hands and fling it out the window. I'm not cleaning dead spiderage up, nor am I going to go get a glass and a bit of paper, it's a flipping spider not a birdeating tarantula (which by the way are awesome).
 
Use a glass if you don't want to touch it. I don't like spiders, but the only spider I've ever REALLY not wanted to touch was in Indonesia, when it was the size of my hand and extremely rapid. We caught it under a washing up bowl and then threw the entire lot out of the door to retrieve in the morning :eek:

I call you spider and raise you a scorpion in Belize, was crawling around the room on the walls, caught in the smallest plastic cup ever and threw it as far as I could.

Spiders are nice. Why? They eat flies and other winged insects. Spiders f tw :)

I normally refuse to kill them whereas I don't hesitate to kill other insects/ small creatures/ peasants ;)
