Yeah, I know it's early and I hate the whole process of buying gifts for Christmas but my dad and I for the past few years have a competition to see who can get the weirdest and most obscure gift. Normally that would be easy but it has to be a good gift, something that won't be thrown to the side.

So give me some ideas. The usual gadgets or off road experience days are too common, I need something that will have the family talking for months :p

Budget is anything up to a ton but the cheaper the better.

That's a good idea but he's not exactly fond of the Scottish so I don't think he'd like it. :(

A bit more info to help -

He's a crazy artist
Lives in a cottage in the middle of nowhere
Drives a RAV4 (Yes, I did say he was crazy)
Fond of the drink

I dunno if that info is of any help but there it is.

what about making him a scotish Laird (like a british lord) that would give him a title instaid of MR,

check HERE for details.
That website says £30 for ONE share in cadbury's chocolate, that can't be right can it?

Do people actually enjoy activity packs or similar though, such as skydiving, racing, spa treatments, etc? I think I had 2 friends go, the bloke thought the racing was good (only) whereas the girl (makeover) was raving about it. Is it actually worth it or would they just not prefer a practical item that is going to last?

Skydiving is a bloody genius idea although having checked prices it seems to be £270 for a tandem jump and £250 for a static line jump. That's a bit pricey :(

Record a Scuzi Video Tutorial on how to change bedclothes...

Useful, educational and hugely funny... :D

I've been scouring eBay for ideas and came across the ideal thing. A Didgeridoo :D

It's top of the list at the minute :D
