None of this pussying around with turbo and super-charging poxy little 1.4s in Golfs. Audi are strapping them onto a 3.6 V6!

That thing is gonna shift some!

Audi seem to have gone engine bonkers over the past year or two. On the diesel front they've introduced the 2.7 and 3.0 diesels and now the 170PS 2.0 whilst on the petrol side we've got the awesome 4.2 V8 in the RS4 and R8 and now we've got this 350bhp twincharged lump!
 
i would have expected a bit more power from that engine though.

3.6 - TWIN charged - gotta be good for a bit more! :)

what i was thinking, i expect they have held back quite a bit, the tuning potential for it will be massive though, and i expect some nutter will soon get there hands on it. hopefully make it look a bit nicer too :D
 
Very pleased to see this, I never understood why audi didn't provide bigger engines for the TT instead of focusing on selling them to hairdressers with piddly little 150bhp lumps.
