hi i noticed that nvidia has a OpenGL rendering GPU option can someone explain the benefit of that for 2 gpu in sli for example. and if the second gpu is enabled and you're playing a game that doesn't support sli will it use the both GPUs and increase performance?

Not likely ... reading elsewhere, SLI has reduced benefits in games these days because in order to push the final frame image to the display, 1 of the cards in SLI generally has to collect data from the others ... which takes time to do. That time taken can be long enough that it delays the frame from being ready to send ... thereby reducing frame rate performance.

It can have its uses in other areas like rendering etc, but not really games these das.
