My MX610 is really really annoying me. I bought it earlier this year to replace my Intellimouse (well, to rid myself of at least one wire) and I've not been happy from the very start (having to position the wireless receiver in stupid places to avoid interference, researching software that actually allows me to use all the buttons, unlike Setpoint, etc.) but now the scroll wheel has become very temperamental. TBH it felt a bit flimsy when I first tried it in comparison to the MS mouse, possibly due to the design for horizontal tilting (which I've never used), but now I can almost never actually scroll up or down - most of the time I have to jam the wheel down right into the mouse, screw it around a bit, then *sometimes* it will start working for a while.

Now I didn't keep the receipts or the packaging; I thought I'd grow to like the thing and after all it was relatively inexpensive compared to the other stuff I tend to trick myself into buying, but I do feel that this mouse has not entirely served me as well as it should've done. Is there any chance that Logitech will swap it? Anyone tried anything similar with them?

Very good support, long ago sent me a new mouse/KB kit to replace my dodgy one (had it ages too) they sent it out 1st and only asked I cut of one of plugs as serial number was on it, and post to .NL, I never did as waste of time.

I had to read part/serial and some other numbers from mouse/receiver/KB bases and that was all they wanted for proof.

I had the MX700 (I think, so long ago) kit and they gave me a MX3000 (same crap mouse) Kit, they would not budge for a new MX3100 Kit (MX1000 laser mouse) and could not take cash to make up diff so I accepted and I sold it as new to a customer of mines and bought the MX3100 here :)

Logitech are the Best company in the history of the Interweb when it comes to returns
They are Supreme, Top draw, unbeaten & Brilliant.
I can't post details of how they have looked after me over the years as you lot will take the **** & rip the bejesus out of them & it will end.
I am prepared to say though that they are the Ultimate company for returns/customer service.
Just ring them with your serial number & all will be well.

I had a problem ith my G5, the firmware flash basically screwed the dpi select. All they wanted was for me to send the old one back, without the cable and plug. Couple of emails and the sent a new one first. Excellent company, the best i have ever dealt with.
