A question about the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro.

Will this CPU cooler, fit on a P5Q Pro?

welcome to OcUk Forums!

I think the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro snags the Northbridge heatsink on a P5Q-E/P5Q-Deluxe but not sure how it will be on the Pro as that version features a smaller heatsink?

If in doubt I know this HSF fits the ASUS P5Q-E so shouldn't be a problem with the Pro . . .

Thanks for the welcoming, I've been trying to find out all day if it will fit, some people say it fit's their P5Q-Pro, but I don't want to take the risk of it not fitting.

So does the Akasa Cool the CPU just as good as the Arctic Freezer?

I would say so!

For the money it's a nice piece of kit, spend another £10 and you can get better still!

The Freezer 7 was being pushed off of th motherboard by my Northbridge on an Asus P5E until i took a stanley knife to it I would go with the akasa as wayne suggests.

Perfect fit on P5Q-Pro, snags the heatsink on a P5Q-E, just bent the NB fins a bit and its in fine.
