A question for all msn users

Has anyone noticed over the past few months if messages they send over msn don't get recieved by the other person or vice versa?

It's been happening a lot to me recently and it's really annoying!

I only wonder because a lot of people not replying recently lol.

Anything with http:// in has a habit of just not sending. They can receive everything else, but I always get links thrown back at me.

I'm experiencing this less and less. It used to happen very often to me.

I do hate MSN with a passion now. It used to be good but now it's packed with useless ****. Everyone uses it though

I don't even get re-bounces. The only time i know about it is when someone sends a message saying 'didn't you get what i just sent?'

I've actually switched to using Trillian now to try and solve it. It's helped a little bit but it's still very annoying!

yeah i've been getting it recently and have had the same problem as zefan with sending links
when it happens seems to take ages to shake

I have no problem with sending links. Sending files though is very hit and miss.

Does anyone know how to disable the feature where it deletes certain file formats when you get sent them? I always forget and it really gets on my ****.

2 people i know have had this real bad in the past few weeks to the point of them not being able to message anyone at all

I've not had any problems with my messages getting thru, but i know of people having problems.

I've had trouble with the latest version (8.5 Beta2) so have went back to 8.1. It has trouble inviting others into conversations and keeps disconnecting.

i think its been fine for me.. maybe connection probs?

however, i do know msn have made changes e.g. you cannot send webaddress ending .info no more (e.g. www.thiswebsite.info/whateverelseyouwanthere)

edit: i believe "?id=" is blocked too now e.g. facebook profile links

My gf keep asking me why didnt i reply to her, i didnt get a message?

Sometimes she logs off without saying anything, when i phone her she swears she told me she was going off to watch tv, or a film, but i never got a message.

Yeah sometimes it rebounds my messages after like 5 minutes, sometimes people talk to me and I don't even get the message.. then they're like "Hello?" lol.

Happens once every few days though so no biggie for me.

That happens when i try to send a mate a link, however with another contact its fine?

Please everyone use the patch found on mess.be so that you can get rid of the useless crap msn has. I did and never looked back.

I think we've established that the mess.be patch contains spyware and so the A-patch is a better bet.
