A quick Q on where to place 10k sensor?

Hi,
My lamptron V2 came with a few 10k sensors like these.

iv never really been fussed about temp sensors but i might as well fit them if i can.

ive just dotted them around the place tbh.

they are only going to show you ambient temperature anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

i have one of the water cooling plug sensors which gives me the tempreture of the coolant after it has ran through all of my components, i prefer that tbh

Pop one or two on your HDDs, One in your CPU heatsink or rad, Near your intake and outtake fans to get an idea of air temperatures, Maybe in your GPU heatsink if you have access to it.

Just a few options. Ive done pretty much all of the above with my Recon.

Ok cheers, prob won't bother. I will get temp sensor plug next time I drain the coolant of my system and put one in then.

Couple on the back of your CPU socket? Having the sensors that read coolant temps are much better though, yours are good for taking case ambient though

Tape them to any metal fitting and theyll give you a fairly accurate read on coolant temp
