A sad day - Riddlermarc

I remember reading a post of his in SA quite a while ago saying he didn't have long left, but I kept looking out for his posts and thinking to myself he's still going strong. Shame to lose such a nice bloke, and at such a young age.

RIP buddy.

Looking at his profile, he was exactly a week older than me, its horrific to think that could be all you get and certainly makes you not want to waste any more time putting things off when you see someone your age go.

Rest in peace man.

Vague recollection of Marc back in the UBB days, before I lost my user account details.

Some people are just fantastic in the face of adversity. RIP.

Didn't know the guy, but just read the last "That's all Folks!" entry - amazing how someone can come to terms with dying and write something like that pre-emptively.

RIP Marc

EDIT: His cancer blog is a fascinating read, the candid and strangely calm nature of it really puts things into perspective. Next time I feel like crap because something "bad" happened at work or in my life, or that I want more money, shinier toys or whatever I'm going to try and remember quotes like this:
Yes it’s a bit of pants news but at least I know I’m looking at a year tops and can plan for it/live my life etc.

All for now, gotta go have some dinner and watch Ratatouille

Gotta say the same, I remember the username, don't think I ever 'knew' him as such but that last post on his blog is kinda, well, goosebumpy.

RIP Marc.

I am deeply shocked. I remember him on here as a Don and used to chat on MSN to him very frequently, especially after our transition over to TPR. He was a great fella and was always willing to help out.

RIP Marc. :(

Horrible news, my thoughts go out to H and Sam if they ever get the chance to read this. His blog is an enlightening but upsetting read, but what an amazing strength.

I wish his family all the best.
