Unfortunately there is emotion.. boredom/miserableness.

Sure these pictures are for a mag, but their customers are making emotional purchases.

2,3 & 6 are my favourites. The cropped hand in 2 is an issue for me though. Also the light looks a little to hard as it makes her look a little too shiny.

i have to say the 6th photo the veil looks abit uncomfortable on her head,it looks like someone just rammed it over head in which its made her hair abit of a mess too .but having said that the only best shot is the last one (black & white ) i loved it

That last BW shot is great, very strong comp, edit and look on the model. I do think her other photos when her mouth is closed she looks a bit too neutral though, her lips are huge!

The BW shot for me has a lot of character because everything flows together, the others are more character neutral because of her face. But having done bridal shoots before, I can appreciate that it's all about what they want (the companies involved).

I know that it's just odd to me as when we were getting married my wife had literally hundreds of wedding magazines all full of people smiling the industry is trying to sell happiness and she looks bored!

Doesn't matter, you're selling the idea of all those things. Part of that idea is that brides are happy. She's very attractive, but her facial expression is trying to be high fashion, which she isn't.

The second more cropped in photo is more successful IMO. With the wide shot there is a lot going on in that scene. It would be easier for me to markup everything to change but doing it without permission would be a little rude I think! But you've got a lot of colour and light going on in the background that is detracting from the model especially that lamp. She could also do with some colour correction on the hands especially, and fixing up the top line of the bodice, it's very pointy above the right breast (camera left).
