A Silly Question about the Asus PHW DH Deluxe

Im sure this is a silly question but I want to check.

On the board there appears to be a protective wrapping ontop of the heatsinks on the board one on top of big heat sink which says Digital Home on the top, and another on top of the smaller heat sink with Asus on it.

I assume I take these off?

Just checking as usually there are stickers on these kind of things saying remove before use ??

Not a silly question. It has been asked a few times.

Yes, I would recommend removing the plastic covering. I believe it is there just to keep the HS covers all nice and shiny.

Remove away......and you can even remove the shiny coppery bits too, if you like (assuming you are putting different cooling thereon )
