I am thinking about jumping back to a dual monitor set-up. I currently use a HDTV (37inch Samsung) which is a nice TV and good monitor for gaming but has its disadvantages as well such as its so big it takes up most of the desk and the desk isn't really deep enough to be able to sit at it without feeling too close.
Unfortunately the space I have available to me is rather limited so getting the TV mounted on a wall or getting a bigger desk is not really an option due to the property I am living in being rented and rather limited in space.
So I am ideally looking for a decent pair of monitors that would allow me to reclaim my desk back again and still keep the OS real estate that I had before if not gain more.
My total budget is around £300 I can stretch a little higher but ideally as close as possible, one of the disadvantages of the TV was there was a small amount of input lag which wasn't that bad but you certainly could detect it. So ideally the monitors would be as quick as possible 2ms would be great. The resolution would ideally be 1920 x 1080 so that blu - ray would be viewable at its native res. And lastly HMDI would be essential to allow me to plug my PS3 into one of them and use it while the other is potentially connected to the PC.
Perhaps this is a long reach but can anyone suggest some potential models that match those spec's that they have perhaps used , or heard of others using ?
TIA
