So, i am pretty much a thicko.... I've never really been great at anything, but talk and think ****.... But i really love space and science.

Random thought..... I watched a doc which suggested the universe is connected through a nebular of time and space and when "zoomed out" looked like brain activity of a bunch of electrodes firing back and fore, which also looked like a living cell.

Which got me thinking, what if the "known" universe is actually a living person and we are what is beyond the sight of a normal telescope aka "sub atomic" particles...

Which made me think even deep over a glass of whiskey...... What if the reason we've not found any other alien life out there is because we are what we describe as (wait for it this is where it gets ****) a cancerous entity and have not yet "spread"..... What if in other universes (other people) they've found out how to populate the universe and they spread, multiply and consuming all natural resources (suns aka neutrons) and moving through space and time destroying galaxies/universes until we've consumed all the sun's and causes the universe to slowly shut down

We already know the universe has and end, much like human life..... We know going back in time is impossible and know that for life to exist we need power.....

Of all the things i've ever posted this is single handedly the most retarded and stupid thing ever.... But i felt i needed to spread my BS.... So thanks for reading haha!
 
I think you are on the money OP. We have seen things that exist in nature on a micro level bear similarities to things on a larger scale. Look at logarithmic spirals... sea shells and the Milky Way, atoms and solar systems. I would like to know more about your hypothesis though.

You have no way of knowing who or what has actually replied to this thread. I could just be a bot that has gone rouge or malfunctioned.

Haha.... Cant tell if troll or not hmmm :D . It is beyond comprehension tho, which is why its so fascinating .

Send more Whiskey and i will release a full thesis.... I'll trust you my address lolz.... Tho it might tail off toward the end haha.
 
Cosmology only ever makes sense in that magic 30 second window between the 8th tin of Spesh and total oblivion.

The real universe is far to nuts for any sane or sober person to ever really comprehend....:/
 
You are going down an very interesting rabbit hole.

Complexity/structure/intelligence/learning/"life" exists only as a constant energy gradient between the structure and the environment, and requires constant adaptation. It occurs on every level from the quantum to the galactic.

The process is: do a little experiment, a little "feeler" > if it fails forget it > if it succeeds add more energy to that path > repeat. It's literally natural selection. Quantum clouds do it. Fungus does it. The human herd does it. The brain does it.

The structure exists as a meta layer of connections on top of all these "feelers". Neurons, individual animals in herds, individual cells in animals, etc.

What are you but simply the meta-data of all the cells in your body signaling each other?

I know because i thought about it many years ago, whilst making a supernoodle and parmesan cheese tortilla.

That was an interesting night to say the least....

Also the tortilla was every bit as disgusting as it sounds

But yeah totally, its so nuts that it literally limits our imagination!
