Amounts are not disclosed as NVIDIA requested we do not disclose that information.
As such I tried to help with the hinting system, unfortunately I am not a machine and sometimes I forget my very own hinting system as at the moment there is so much going on.

Also deliveries sometimes are short, so for example Asus may say were getting 30 cards tomorrow, but then the courier only delivers 20 cards because 10 have either being stolen or are on a separate shipment coming the day after. That is a reason we avoid amounts also.

I am promised the numbers are ramping up, we truly hope it is the case as we have never known a launch like this with such low supply, made even worse due to such insane high levels of demand.


Regarding payment, OcUK has always taken payment upfront, that is something I do not control or influence and as such it won't be changing any time soon.

I do believe Amazon payment potentially works differently.
 
Just to make it clear and so I am clear on it

Very small = Less than 10 units
Small = 10-30 units
OK = approx 50 units
Large = 75-100 units
Very large = 100+
Dream = 250+

I shall try to imprint this in my brain and stick to it.

So far the best we have had is large but most deliveries at start were very small and now most are small to ok. We are seeing it transition though to ok levels now and we truly hope going forward they will all become large and very large, but I believe dream levels still won't be happening this month, but fingers crossed maybe in later part of November.

Honestly I'm fine with these things. I have the patience to wait.. unlike half the posters on the 3080 threads crying about how they have to wait for something they've paid for when they were told they have to wait.

They don't know HOW LONG. This is the problem, and OCUK still taking backorders

And in Feb 2021 it's another china golden holiday...

What does your post even mean mate?

I originally called someopne out for complaining about a situation he was in of his own making? You mention me parking and buying xmas gifts like their the same thing.

You however have also found yourself in the same situation as the OP yet I don't even have a card on order because I'm waiting until next year?

@Gibbo Please could you give us a indication of what is happening with EVGA. Its concerning a lot of people that a competitor has recieved 4 shipments so far and are receiving weekly shipments but you guys have not recieved anything which is concerning me. Does it have anything to do with the tweet that was sent out upsetting EVGA ?
 
After thinking about it ive cancelled the order - im fed up with the wait and the hassle.

I notice only now is Gibbo's thread starting to show some more info - its too little too late
I also note that we are all being urged to show "patience" - are you suggesting the same patience Overclockers clearly were not prepared to show before taking full payment for cards they wont have for months you mean

To expect me to pay £1710 in full and then wait for weeks on end with no updates or delivery date even estimated is frankly unreasonable and i refuse to do it - id rather go without the card.

I will look elsewhere in the new year when people actually have stock to send out and honour tha payment made to them and i also feel possibly Ngreedia have revised the SKU with 7nm which will be a lot better than this 8nm heater anyway

good luck with the wait guys, but it isnt for me any more
