A suggestion to reduce the amount of PS3 vs Wii vs 360

Hi guys notice the threads seem to get invaded by die hard supporters of different console fans.

The problem is this Console Games & Hardware seem to be a general forum for all Wii/360/PS3 (in no particular order

) which reels in the fanbois

I am sure this suggestion would make it easier for the moderators of this forum also! :cool:

My suggestion would basically be a branch of this Forum.

e.g

Console Games & Hardware
General (everything non related to a particular console)
PS3 (obviously for PS3)
360 (for 360)
Wii (for wii)

Its just a suggestion, I am just saying this as I think avforums.com seem to have got it right and am sure it would make life much easier for mods.

It's been discussed time and time again, and any forum where this does take part I have noticed it's much more likely that threads die early on and that stuff gets repetative.

It's far better as it is.

You can't really seperate the 3.

Even in a discussion based around one console, it wont be long before another is brought into the discussion. It can't really be any other way, a consoles good/bad points are only relative to what other options are available.

I prefered it before they seperated consoles & PC's tbh. I mean aren't all gamers the same under the case?

It wouldn't make it easier for the mods, infact there's already enough people posting about consoles in PC game and PC games in consoles - any more sections would just melt it all together in one big mess.

I hate the way AVForums do things. I like their trading forums (bar the stupid ban-happy admins), but the way they break down forums just makes it all a bit "meh" to me, there must be about 100 different forums.

Much prefer the way it works here!

Laughable more like.

You'd honestly think they were talking about life and death the way some were going on.

But someone in the end started a good debating thread which actually was a very good read and worthy of contributing too.
