Two speedlites were used. One is in a softbox on camera left and the other was directly behind me firing bare at the background.

is there a way to get the background full white? high key style? I'm just testing mine out, i have 2 speed lights. i was doing the same, turned the one behind me up to 1/1 and it almost gave me the full high key picture i was after.

I might need a fill light to predominately just light the background i think

I can't say I've tried to do a high key against my blueish grey wall but I imagine it's possible with two or perhaps three speedlights. I'll have to test sometime!

nice pictures all round - great eye for all sorts of shots. Very nice and congrats - just be prepared to sell all you camera gear due to lack of time and money now the baby is here!
