TURN IT OFF!!!

I've basically always had it running just because I like shadowplay and ....well I don't know really.

Wow, not sure if it's a 4K thing or not but before my gpu usage in games was always a bit annoying. Maybe 70%- 85% sometimes 95 depending on the game.

Since turning it off every game I've tried....96-100% load. Boom

Give it a go

Yeah - 4k 1080 sli here. Never normally install GFE, but did this time. It made one of my cards run full pelt continuously, and the other run at about 738mhz and no more.

Uninstalled and everythings fine now.

WOW again. I noticed dying light sli usage was still 80% ish. I uninstalled GFE and now 99-100% usage! WTF!

We need to tell the world about this. I've had GFE installed since it came out and never saw anyone say it caused this issue.

Do you have ShadowPlay configured in shadow mode? that always kills some performance as its always buffering a loop of the previous few minutes - disable it (unless you actually want that feature) and only use toggled manual recording.

Some people have found that in conjunction with other software the streaming (twitch) stuff in GFE can cause performance issues also even if you aren't streaming.

No I always have it set to manual anyway. Now I've uninstalled it even The Division is 99%
