Considering it's coming out on PC it can still be cutting edge, it's not a port and judging from the 2006 footage it looks amazing.

obviously you missed the '2' part of my post. Check out the gametrailer preview of GoW 2. I somehow don't see that running on a 1950 pro.

Gears of War 2 is hardly a big leap ahead of the first, it looks better yes but nothing huge, also the X1950 Pro was just an example, considering you can get an 8800GT for £105 now I can see Gears of War 2 flying along just like the first one does, heck at 1920x1080 I get 60FPS locked throughout 99% of the game.

I think you forgot just how optimized the Unreal Engine is on PC.

Agreed,I like to see the rest of the game where you on a open map not on rails as such where you got hardly any movement as a lot of it you cannot interact with it.
