I was hoping to see some last weekend when I was up near Canmore but we were snowshoeing rather than looking for wildlife in particular. So far I haven't been out properly with the camera yet, too busy skiing and snowshoeing (amongst other less interesting stuff). Hopefully that will change soon and I can go up for a day and do some photography.

Wildlife always congregate in certain areas based on access to food, proximity to predators, climate etc. Following the road from where I photographed the moose I wouldn't come across any wildife for an hour, just not the environment they like in winter.
