hi there
I have a laptop and a desktop. Both use wireless to access the net.

Needless to say the desktop is the one I use all the time for online gaming, however, today there seems to be a problem:

my laptop is connecting fine to homehub, but the pc is not.

i tried connecting it with the ethernet cable but no luck, it keeos telling me that my connection is LOCAL ONLY on PC, while on laptop there is no problem what so ever.....

ANY IDEAS PLS>?

ok, i have reset bios to default no luck
i also restore to a previous point i.e. 2 days ago when all was working, still no luck

any ideas? anyone encountered this type of problem before?

thanks in advance

should i reinstal windows Vista? If so will my files remain?

perhaps there is access control on the hub, limiting you to only one mac address conecting to the hub. Have you popped the setup disc in your gaming rig to try to run the setup again?

Madboy, thanks for rplying, well it was running fine with 2 computers (wirelessly) I have also tried disconnecting the laptop and keeping the pc on, but no luck still.

you think i should reinstall the hub? only ask because its being recognised in vista and is connected wirelessly, however only to LOCAL, not to internet. whle the laptop is connected to internet with no problems
