I will get a Wii and I have a 360. Start saving up now.

I hope Nintendo add a internet service like Xbox live cause that would rock.

I'm the only one so far waiting for PS3 - might as well size 'em all up before buying + my trusty 7800GT will keep me going till then* :p

I've got a 360 and want a Wii as well.

I was going to get one at launch, but I've decided to hold off, probably until just after Xmas. The launch lineup doesn't excite me that much in any case.

Was gonna get one at £149.99 but will now hold off and wait a while.

So the price is your only reason? Strange seeing as the console is still in theory £149.99, but comes with a game instead which bumps the price up (that would have been bought by most folks anyway I think).

You would have still been paying £180+ on launch day anyway, even if the console was £150, unless you didnt plan on buying any games?

im definatly gonna get one, but ive only had my 360 about 3 weeks, which cost me a bomb. also bought a car and insurance is due end of decemeber. That makes me a little short of money, even for spending £200 on a wii lol. Il wait till the xmas rush is over.

its only really because people like to object if and when they can. most peopel who are complaining say they wouldnt play the game. well...what games will you be playing then? and i bet you dont say thay when you actually play it.

I'm getting one, on release. It'll be the first release console i have ever bought. That's how much ive been waiting for wii.

hehe

I would have thought Zelda was the must have game of the launch, particularly given its not launching on the gamecube until later (do we actually know its UK gamecube release is?). So realistically for many it's now going to cost £220 or £260+ (if you want a game of your choice and an extra controller).

Many were expecting a sub £150 release price with 2 controllers bundled (given all the marketing has been about playing together and being a value system not in competition with the ps3 and 360) so I can see where the price might put some people off. I think the price is reasonable it’s just not what a lot of people expected a few weeks ago.

On topic, I have a 360, plan to get a wii before the end of the year and will pick up a ps3 once some strong exclusive games come out, hopefully after the price has dropped a little.

Maybe, but I would think that people would want a title like Wiisports that showcases what the console is essentially all about.

Personally Zelda doesn't interest me, never found the games interesting although I admit it probably is the must-have title for most.

I'm a bit disappointed that I'm being forced to buy the console with Wii Sports but I think I'll still get one anyway. It's a shame because you won't even be able to trade it in for something else, everyone will already have that game!

I'm happy that it will be able to play Gamecube games and use my pads so that's good. I think I'll pick up Zelda and Excite Truck if they are any good :)

No by that I mean if I could buy the console for £149.99 I would. Its not a console I want to buy games for. When I can I will rent them. It won't be my main machine so I don't intend to be forced into buying games for it.

It does, but I would rather not have it bundled at all if it means I'm going to have to go and buy another Wiimote. Let's face it, WiiSports is a bunch of tech demos that aren't the same experience played on their own. Is it worth the cost of a full game either?

Nintendo: dump the bundle, or chuck another Wiimote/nunchuck in.
