why are you even saying that if you have the money for a console which is more expensive? you understand what im getting at, right?
for the record, dirty dog, i do have the money to snap all of the next gen consoles up, if i please. But i wont buy a 360 for the same reason you dont want a wii - value for money. so where does that leave us? ah yes, money trees...
now, im even getting bored of my own posts so ill stop now and give everybody a break. If its not about having the money, dont write your posts in such a way

The comment about the money tree was really aimed at people who would wonder why someone might be happy to pay £150, but baulk at £180, rather than you James - even if I did post that in response to your post By the sounds of it, you know exactly where I'm coming from then, as you feel the same way about the 360.

dirtydog and sic, please cut it out now, you're pulling the thread down a little too far, and sic, less of the crappy personal attacks. dirtydog has every right to post his opinion in here, and they're all valid opinions, though some of you may not agree, don't flame him about them, as this is a poll for everyone, not just those that are going to be getting a Wii.

Of course the poll isn't realy representative as the sample is pretty small and not really random enough but it's still not a great showing for the PS3.
I put my name down for a Wii at Toys R Us, and while it's not necessarily the most accurate way to judge sales, the PS3 was vastly more 'pre-ordered' than the Wii. I was only 4th on the list, with roughly a Wii a week being pre-ordered since they opened their books.
I would say that despite the Wii's popularity on here that in the UK at least, the PS3 will outsell it. Probably the X360 too eventually... it's all people seem to care about console wise.

I've not really looked into the priceing of the Wii yet but I think I could afford the £180 I have heard about,
The PS3 is a hell a lot of money to shell out for a console these days, tbh with a lot of people seem to think it gives them a status because they will have a "PS3"

Basically it's what I said earlier in the thread - the poll's results can't be relied upon, certainly as far as people's intentions re the PS3 are concerned.
