A World of Warcraft player list?

If you guys can agree on a server and Horde / Alliance I'll happily try and sort something out.

I'm on Defias Brotherhood, which is a top server and I'm horde atm, good strong horde side.

Well, I wouldn't want to move from Dragonmaw as some of my friends are there.

I've played on a huge amount of servers and the Horde side there is perfectly fine and doesn't have the lag issues many of the larger servers suffer from.

Ah so back to a case of "I don't want to move from my friends" :D

Brilliant start.

Well, I would imagine people who join a 'reroll' guild are people who are new to the game/not currently playing?

Why would anyone consider that if they already are on a server with their friends

I'm just saying the server I am on would be fine for that, if you don't want to go there, thats fine.

I've not mentioned a "reroll" guild. You have :)

I said I was happy to set one up on a server (I'm not fussed which, but one we all agree on)

Maybe, people and their friends would welcome a fresh start and a nice friendly guild to level up in.

So you wouldn't be willing to move from your server? You don't have to join.

A yes to the thread from me!

Have just reactivated my old dualboxed 80 priest/rogue combo, and I'm starting a 4man multibox on Nagrand server very soon

Sadly it sort of seems to be the norm around here. Someone comes up with the idea of an OCuk guild on an MMO. There is much hype about it, dozens and dozens of people say they want in on it, then about 3 weeks later there are only half a dozen people still logging on and everyone else has either left, gone to another game or back to where they came from.

Seems to happen time and again, you've only got to look at some of the past/existing MMO guild threads on here to see people saying "what happened to everyone?" and "is anyone still playing" etc.

I suppose its not unique to here though, I imagine the same could be said of any impromptu guild. Shame though all the same.

That will always be the case with something like a reroll project, unless you get a load of new players together who have no reason to go elsewhere.

What I suggested to Tummy was some people might want to come to my server and I could help them with various things, but it was just a suggestion, nothing fancy :p

the good thing about the cata reroll guild is that most of the people have committed to the character they roll in it to become their main. From what i gather they are mostly retiring their current toons off.

So when their playing wow, they will be playing on the toon in this guild.

Everyone is starting from scratch from level 1, with a bit of luck a brand new server too if one is available on release.....if not we will be going on one everyone can agree on.

If your not goin to start from scratch in cata, then you probably never will.

Wow really?

So they are just giving up on their existing level 80 characters and the guilds those characters are in and their friends in those guilds to start again at level 1 and play their new character as their main instead of their lvl80 with their existing guild and guildmates?

Thats pretty surprising, kind of feel a touch sorry for their current guild friends :D

We are still going, started back in TBC with a load from here. Though how many people that are left that still hang around here I'm not too sure.

I have most characters on Shattered Halls, though I do have one on Shadowsong, which reminds me, I need to give the guys on there a nudge for a guild invite :D

Due to the proposed re-roll guild being mostly casual in its advances, although most have planned to start again from scratch and retire their old toons, some people even plan to re-roll with us and also keep existing mains on other servers/guilds and continue to play them.

In other cases, people have stray lvl 80's where their mates have quit or their guilds have disbanded due to stale content, or have quit hardcore raiding for a more social aspect.

And of course, some are bringing their friends along with them to join the project :)

Most of us are guys that have quit previously or slipped to above said semi-afk state and want to re-start and explore the new content, hopefully creating and experiencing a new social ring also.

This makes me want to re-sub to WoW. The last time I played the level cap was 60 :D

My little team are level 34-35 now, anyone else on the nagrand server?
Got 80 priest/rogue there, and ofc my multibox team. Druid tank, Shammy healer,
Priest dps & Mage dps
