A240 res mounting?

I'm new to water cooling (unless you count my 120mm CoolerMaster Seidon 120 AIO), and want to get a better loop for my new upcoming build. I posted a thread in the Cases section but after 650 views it has no replies. I wonder if I posted in the wrong section tbh, as it's mostly a water-cooling Q involving a case (if that makes sense).

I've been looking at the A240 kit from EKWB, especially as it's included in some of 8Pack's Ryzen bundles. My current case won't take it (no room for 240 rad) so I'm thinking of getting a BitFenix Shogun or similar. My actual question is about mounting the res. It seems to have a 120mm fan mount bracket, but from what I can tell from the EKWB manual pdf it requires vertical mounting (i.e. on the case floor). I've seen photos of similar looking reservoirs mounted on the front intake fans on Google pics, but no actual info on the process of mounting itself and how to do it this way.

Will the Shogun be able to take the A240 kit's res without modification? Or am I better with a different case? Some of the popular cases on OcUK are half the Shogun's price, and specifically mention res mounting points etc. I just like the look of the Shogun (aluminium, tempered tinted glass on both sides) but I don't mind changing my mind if needs be... I have an NVMe drive for the OS, an Evo 850 SSD for scratch and a normal 2TB rust spinner for storage. Other than that any cages/mounts can be removed to make space as required.

So, can anyone please provide any practical experiences regarding mounting this res? Or any alternative easy suggestions for a noob? TIA.

I've just found a TweakTown review that shows a similar res on the front intake fan mount, so I should be good to go provided you can still mount a regular hard drive somewhere. Thanks. :)
