A3 or 1 series?

What would you prefer new audi a3 se or new 1 series m sport both 2.0 diesels. ive driven both and like how the both drive but i am undecided on the looks.

The new A3 is a far better looking car externally, probably slightly edging it inside too ( though the new 1 does at least have a reasonable interior) plus it drives pretty well so that'd seal it for me on a 2 litre diseasel

A3 more car for you money and I'd always choose a bigger car over a smaller one for a daily.

Can't get the a3 in s line unfortunately only SE, Swaying towards the A3 if it were s-line it would be 100% go, But the se model seems decently spec'd the outer styling and interior is not the usual poverty spec you usually see on base models.

If it is going to have a 2.0 diesel in it then get the A3. Much nicer looking car. If it was the m135i on the other hand....

The 1 series and the A3 are the same size - not sure why its suggested that the A3 is bigger?! I prefer the 1 series but would imagine either would be a good option.

Difficult really, the 1 Series is an excellent car and well specified with great tech. But it looks... meh. The A3 looks nicer.

Test drive both and go for the one you prefer.
Or the one that gives you most toys.
