Can anyone recommend a place to pick up a nice a3 size portfolio? Looked on the rainforest but they don't show many images of each portfolio to see what they look like inside.

Its going to be used to display various images at different sizes, thanks all :)

Seeing as you're in Portsmouth...

Try the Uni shop in Portland or Eldon, they have portfolios as well as the inserts to go in them. I don't know when they're open in the summer though, give them a call.

Failing that, I'm fairly sure the hiscock gallery do portfolios...

There is also 'the art centre' on london road. No idea what's there...

As above, london graphics centre is fantastic if you can get there, as is cowling and wilcox.

Maybe this thread would do better in the Photography forum as you're more likely to find people there who may know about this sort of thing?

Yes, would make more sense.

Like the look of this one...

The last one is not a portfolio but just a carry case, the first one has always been one of the best; value for money.

Personally I think these look more professional but you are restricted that you cannot add more sleeves mapac-professional-presenters

Yeah I agree, but as you said its downside is that you cant add sleeves to it :(

Just noticed that http://www.londongraphics.co.uk/acatalog/Mapac_Quartz_Portfolios.html only has a 3 part ring bind, was hoping for a 4 so I can add some smaller A4 photos. I guess I still can but I think it would look abit odd.

It still has 20 sleeves within though which is 40 A3 sheets so its not exactly lacking space.

I think finding any with 4 rings is gonna be difficult as I have a few different brand portfolios and they are all 3 ring binders seems a standard. Maybe mount the pictures?

Sorry how do you mean mount? Put a border around it?

You can use 3M's Spray Mount. It leaves little residue if you ever need to peel it off again. You can find it in craft shops and the like.

When i mount, it's permanent, but it's always nice to have the option. Better than using glue.
