A5004 - best road ever :D

I always end up sat on the M6 for about an hour and a half in a static que on friday nights, so i thought sod that, tonight on my way home from base i decided to take some back roads.

I ended up getting onto the A5004 and WOAH that road is mental! Even in my little 1.4 fiesta zetec it was the most fun i have had in car, i kept testing to see how fast i could go round a corner without breaking, i always chickened out :( !

Anyone drive on this much? Apparently its closed in winter!

Been there a few times. :)

A note of caution though....

Given this mixture of usage, the number and sharpness of the bends and the fact that it is not uncommon to encounter straying livestock on the road it is necessary to employ a great deal of caution. Severe winter weather can also make the road extremely hazardous.
