A8n32 jack sensing/sound problem - Solved

Hi,

I'm just using onboard sound for now on the a8n32-sli deluxe mobo and I can't seem to get any sound out! I've connected it to the lime coloured jack and I only have a 2.1 speaker system, but having no luck in getting any sound out. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

I've checked the bios setting and out of two possible settings of "auto" and "disabled" - it's set to auto already.

I just went through windows troubleshooter - suggests altering bios plug and play settings - what should it be set to?

Just solved it - in case someone else has the same or similar problem, it was a simple case of putting jumpers back in where they belong. I had taken them out earlier to connect in front audio jacks but decided not to bother since it was too fiddly and was not worth it since I it would not be likely that I'd be using them.. So if you take them out, put them back in if you don't plug in anything else! :P
