A8R-MVP and memory

Hi just asking you all with the Asus A8R-MVP motherboard as to what memory you are running with , only i have just tried going from my corsair 2 times 512 tccd modules to 2 times 1 gig mushkin redline modules and my system has become unstable as far as any demanding graphics goes i.e 6000 3dmark06 down to 3500 3dmark06 , i have reflashed the bios , ran at stock , reloaded the graphics drivers and all the normal things associated with disapointing upgrades , can anyone cast any light on my latest dilemmer
