I am not a happy chap, as today I have just checked my bank to find that the AA have taken out £90 out of my account and without even notifiying me in the first place. I have had no reminders through the post or via the phone, surely they cannot do this without my permission?

I have even noticed that online the price for Option 200 is £67 (with a 25% discount), but even without that comes to less than £90. So there's not even any loyalty for exsisting members.

A soon as I get home from work I'm gonna give them hell

This seems to be the way they work. I queried it with the RAC and they said it was up to me to cancel to which I argued that if I didnt renew then how come they could take money rom my account. Check the small print. RAC t&c
PAYMENT WILL CONTINUE TO BE TAKEN EACH YEAR UNTIL YOU ADVISE US OTHERWISE

Dont know about you but I went into our local shopping centre and for AA joint membership (ie not reg the car but the person) for £89 think its call home300 or relay300 iirc the guys said it was £130 normally but if i paid it all at once.. also he did actually tell me to cancel the DD straight away so they dont auto charge next year!!
