I also think there's a huge chance we'll see Mass Effect 2 and Gears of War 2 this fall.

LBP that's the only possible AAA game this year, because the rest are re-hash crap we've seen/played time and time again.

The lack of creativity from developers is beyond belief :(

edit; before anyone here starts getting their knickers in a twist I'm sure there will be some great games this year, but in my view AAA should not only be something great but also something creative and offering a new experience in gaming.
Ah, as soon as I saw the thread title, I just knew I was going to find at least one post like this in here. Frankly, I'm surprised there's only the one of you. Wooo wooo, all aboard the "Games are so unoriginal/it's all sequels these days" train!

Why do people always list sequels as games to look forward to? Because they like the game and know to expect more of what they enjoyed!
Why don't people list new, imaginative games as ones to look forward to? Because they don't know what to expect, and because a lot of compnies promise the earth and deliver little!

Cool new games will come pretty much mostly out of nowhere, and only be appreciated after their release, just like they always have.

I see no reason why a sequel can't be a considered a truely great game... Take Baldurs Gate 2 on the PC. You could argue it was 'just' a sequel and therfore un-original, but as it improved on the original in almost every way and was a masterpiece of design and story telling think that it being a sequel doesn't really matter.
