Nothing wrong with being passionate sir, nothing at all. But the forum you are describing is not the graphics card section we have now. Now sir, the difference between you, me and others and 'fanboys' is that I will not rubbish either sides cards as seems to happen on here too frequently. I like Nvidia cards but why are they more expensive than Amd equivilents at the moment. Nvidia fans will say, better build quality and that may be true of some reference cards but not, for the most part, later cards like Msi, Asus, Gigabyte and Sapphire 290's. Take my own Msi R9 290 Gaming for instance, I have been buying graphics cards for going on 30yrs and this one is without doubt one of the finest I have owned, including many Nvidia cards. I am often bound by budget and at the moment, as I have pointed out before, the R290 is up to £200 cheaper than a 780Ti. I cannot justify that price difference with the performance difference at all. As for accusing people of being 'fanboys' and your ascertaining that makes me one, well sir I invite you to look at all my posts and I am certain the only criticism of Nvidia cards by me will relate to price for performance and if anyone wishes to swop their 780Ti for my 290 I'm more than happy to do so. By the way you don't have to look hard to see several posts on the go right now where one of our members is having problems with his computer and the 'fanboys' advice is to get rid of your amd crap cards and buy Nvidia and that will magically fix his computer. Thankfully he has the good sense to try and find out what the problem is first before jumping to conclusions. That is the sort of stuff which gets up my hump and there is no place for it on this enthusiasts forum. To finish I just have to say both camps are guilty of the 'fanboy stuff'.
