Abercrombie & Fitch

Nice stuff but way overpriced in the UK. I always stock up when I'm in the US though as it's dirt cheap over there :)

in new york i went into both, AE and AF but i found the american eagle stuff to not be shaped to fit the slimmer design style that AF do.

one of my mates gets all the board shorts they do off ebay, they came with tages and that and looked legit, just obviously be warey of the dodgey fakes on there too.

Do American Eagle ship to UK? some awesome stuff for well cheap.
Yep, they do but it's a $40 shipping charge and you can expect to get hit for VAT and duty.

It still works out cheap though, with the sale they have on at the minute, I bought a few polos, pair of jeans, pair of shorts and a couple of tshirts all for hte price of one Abercrombie & Fitch shirt - shipping included.

Here's a handy discount code - 17542416

Cheers Scuzi, legend.

What are the jean fits like? Murder finding out what brands are what fit. Bought some jeans from Next, 36" waist. They fit right. Then i bought some Firetrap ones, 36" also, but they're far too big for me now, dunno if i've lost weight lol or they some how enlarged but i have to wear a belt tight as poss so they dont fall down.

The jeans are a good fit, slightly loose but that how they're supposed to be worn. The polos and tshirts which are not vintage fit are probably a size bigger than advertised, so buy one smaller.

Cool, loose fit suits me fine.
Dont suppose u know how much duty etc would i be expected to pay on $180 worth of clothes, well the total value including shipping is 231.65 but i presume you only pay duty on the value of the contents.

Last time I bought about $200 worth of stuff and was stung about £50. IIRC I also had to pay parcel farce £30 for the privilege of paying the fee for me in advance

AE stuff is cool but does not fit no where near as nice as the A&F stuff

Dont forget Hollister - cool 'beach' wear that is cheaper than its parent company A&F. They also have a new company/label out called Ruel - its one step up from A&F basically about 30% more expensive for real smart stuff :)

Some of my mates send me a list to which I go and buy then send it over to them at least half the price, + they buy me a beer (or several) for my efforts.

No word of a lie!! I got that in the end of winter sale (January) for $29.99!! Plus 3 Henley tops for $20 each - now thats when the real bargains are to be had - the sales!!

This makes me cry. I hate UK prices.

Anyone know of anymore decent online clothing shops? I just want cheapish t-shirts for beachwear basically while im away, that i can just screw up and throw on the beach and not have to worry about it gettin ruined.

God damn they aren't exactly cheap.

Absolutely love the designs though. I'd order the whole store if I were rich :D

OK. I don't get their UK web store. Surely they don't ship the stuff from America, that's ludicrous? I would have though they'd have already imported the goods into the UK ready to pass on to the consumer?
