Abit 650i Fatal1ty or QuadGT?

well yes the old, "what mobo" question.

ive identified a need for an abit mobo based upon stability. lack of vdroop and also availability.

I like the look of the Fatal1ty but havent found a review yet. there is also no word whether it support quad/Penryn wheras the QuadGT does.

i dont need SLi, and i dont need RAID.

i just want a rock solid board for an E6400 to oc and have some fun with...

so whats the prognosis?

probably use stock cooler, or AC7 so thats not really an issue.

ya but i still remember when Abit said the KT7A would be compatible with the Palomino...i got sting that time and dont want it again!

the surprising thing for me with this mobo is that its not listed on the abit USA website. it only seems to appear (to me) on the UK site...

yet after a full launch you would have thought it would show on both? perhaps thats why there are no reviews if its not being sent out in the usa?

depending on - my cpu, and mobo arriving and then my new case and ACPRO7 i should have an Abit FP-IN9 rig setup this evening so i will report back then on this one.

hi mine didnt arrive today and i was 99% that iot would...

i have a new lian li pc7b...ballistix....ACpro7... all new all waiting for my shiny new abit fpin9 and intel e6400 to arrive and i got let down.

it WILL arrive tomorrow so ill get some posts up once ive assemlbed the kit!

just picked up my e6400 and abit 650 FP-IN9 but i cant play with them till i get home!

box looks good, but i hear it doesnt come with rounded cables etc:/
