Hi All

Installed this mobo at the weekend (great mobo btw) but i have 2 unknown devices that i cant sort out.

I have a coolermaster stacker 832, that has 4 USB ports 2 on top and 2 on the front, ...these dont work!

So i was assuming its these, but even if unplugged from the mobo i stall have these 2 unknown devises grrr. I tried them one at a time and in all three available ports on the mobo.

I only have a gfx card installed, no other cards, this has really got me foxed :(

All cd and dvd drives and HDD are working fine.

nope, ive offered it every folder on the mobo disk and nothing :(

PC is running fine, its just annoying

you are sure that it isn't the audio controller?
There is a widespread issue with Realtek HD drivers not installing due to the MS UAA driver.

Well i re-installed the audio drivers from the disk...and the unknown device is still there :(

try the latest (1.81?) from Realtek's site.
if it's the MS UAA problem though you may have to uninstall that first before the Realtek drivers will install.

can you post a screenie of your expanded device manager?
you could also post on the abit USA forum - more IN9 32X users there.

Couldn't be the Airpace card?
I don't have an IN9 32X but I'm sure that somebody with 1 would probably spot what wasn't right which is why I suggested the abit USA forum.

Thx again, d/ling now @ 11k a sec :(

I cannot find any info on the MS UAA problem you mention?

I have searched the USA ABit forums and there have been a lot of cases like mine, but have found none of the solutions help me :(

I will register with them and post for some help.
