Abit IP35 network driver

Installed Vista on my ABIT ip35 mobo but I have no network drivers installed, tried reloadign the drivers but nothing updated.

Any ideas?

if it's an IP35 (or -E) it's a Marvell LAN

If it's a Pro it's a Realtek

Kind of strange of Abit to use a superior Marvell Lan Ports on the IP-35 E & IP-35 in comparison to the flagship P35 Chipset Abit IP-35 PRO which uses the CPU hogging/Slower Realtek's, very annoying to find that out.

isn't there a way to stop adjust that in gpedit.msc
i never use lan ports anyway not on upstairs rigs always wireless

I think that you'll find that the Realtek isn't as slow or as CPU hogging as you think ...

thanks BUFF realised that after I posted
for some reason a lot of the drivers are not on the supplied CD for Vista, yet for Xp they hve everything

that's because Vista should have a reasonably upto date driver for most things already built in.

well I havent actually installed it yet as was busy last night, so I hope its not an actual hardware issue, its just a missing driver

interestingly vista has no recognition of it at all

Yep, it was disabled as default on my machine.
