Morning all,

Just fired up my PC and noticed the OC software had appeared to have reset itself i.e clock speed was stock, no fans were being monitored etc. I set everything back to what it was last night and the mobo started beeping and shutdown windows.

Entered the bios and the CPU fan wasn't detected, took the lid off and sure it enough it was spinning as it should. I did notice that part of the bios screen had random characters.

So it appears my motherboard is somewhat poorly :(

Does anyone have suggestions what I try before sending it back on an RMA, also do OC have advance replacement service?

Thanks

Perhaps try flashing to the latest BIOS (or reflashing if already)?
Ensure that you have your RAM voltage set according to the manufacturer's recommendation & not the JEDEC 1.8V.

update - I hit the bios reset switch and it's fine on the stock speed now. The Bios screen has no random characters in it as it did before and EVE is running fine :)

I'll flash the bios today with the latest one and sort out the memory timings, I know for sure it's using the default settings.
