i've been using this version 11 bios as well, and it sorted out my temp reporting issues.

however, one problem that i do have is an error message if i select ahci support.

i don't really know what ahci is, and whether or not i need it - currently i only have 1 sata hard-drive and one dvd burner on ide - do you think i would benefit from ahci were it available?

also i'm thinking of upgrading my ide dvd burner to sata - i know it's cheap, but should i bother?

on a sidenote, i'm loving this board, easily getting cool stable 4 GHz from e8400 (although was frightened when old bios indicated temp of 108C , now @ 55C)
