Hi.
Was looking at buying the ip35 pro, but im building a full system inc monitor etc so my budget is stretched. A lot.

Im going for g0 q6600 an want to get it to a nice stable 3200Mhz and keep the temps down. Cooling will be tuniq tower.

Other things going in : ocuk 8800 gtx, creative sound card, corsair HX 620w, 4Gb (2x2Gb) ram - not sure which set yet.

Question: do i stick with the ip35 pro, or can i skimp an get the ip35 or summat else? If something else which one??

Ram advice would be handy too.
Cheers folks.

If you want to cut cost then consider getting a HX 520W instead of HX 620W, the 520W version would power that rig easily and 3.2GHz shouldn't require any effort. :)

Was intending on settin up a RAID array in the future when my wallet will allow me, with a tv card, dvd drive, 2+ hdd's an 5+ case fans will the 520w still do the job?? Im not sure. Plus it only saves 25 quid where as the mobo choice could save more like £50.

EDIT: In the future il be swapping out the mobo, ram, gfx and cpu for 16 core, ddr3/4? or whatever. Would like all other components to be future proof-ish an dont wanna skimp eg. case, monitor, mouse, psu etc.

depends if you need/want the additional features - either the vanilla or Pro should do 3.2GHz with adequate cooling, a reasonable CPU etc..
It's probably hard to justify an extra £40 for the Pro for what you get extra (nice touches though it may have).

Cant find the vanilla anywhere. Not sure i need the eSATA... µGuru looks handy but is it worth it?
So do you recon il get to 3.2ghz with the ip35 (standard) easy enough?? Or you advising i get vanilla or pro (pro)?
