Is the latest BIOS for this board the most stable with Vista 64 and a Q6600? If not, which version should i be looking at?

Cheers
beano

11 it is then. 10 seems a bit sketchy to me, although i won't know for sure til the new memory gets here... Cheers Buff. ;)

please flash in DOS using a floppy or USB memory stick.
whilst the latest FlashMenu should work it's inheretly riskier.

apparently 11 has fewer CPU : RAM ratios.

Yeah i'm gonna dig out a floppy for that, as there's no second chances with the Abits afaik!?!

Fewer CPU:RAM ratios!?! Why are they going backwards?

abits are 1 of the better mobos in the event of a failed flash:
1) you may be able to recover from the bootblock
2) they use socketed BIOS chips, not soldered.

Oh! Thanks for the info Buff, i was under the impression that if it failed it was end of game!?!
