Just been thinking it might be an idea to get a sata 3 hd. Had a look and found the crucial ssd c300, thought it might be quite decent as the os drive. Would it be worth it instead of my spinpoints? I'd keep them as storage / game install drives. Also, the drive is 2.5, does it come with mounts to fit in a 3.5 bay?

You can use a SATA 2 disk on a SATA 3 connector if that's what's worrying you.

No need to buy a new disk for the sake of it.

Think i should just stop looking at stuff tbh, thinking of buying things just for the sake of it. My pc will be more than quick enough without a ssd.

Get the 1tb WD Black Caviar 64meg cache. SATA 3. £67 i think it is
