I am so fed up of this.

I am now on my 3rd motherboard (Asus M2N-SLI), which I bought because I was told it supplied 2.2v+ to the ram. Now, it definitely does do that...but I cannot get all 4gb of my ram to work so that I can load bios.

I have 2 x 1gb of OCZ 6400 5-5-5-12 Special OPS Edition
And also 2 x 1gb of OCZ 6400 4-4-4-15 Platinum Edition

Problem is, that the platinum needs 2.2v, and the SOE takes 2.1v. However, the SOE has this voltage protection malarky on it, so I can the voltage to 2.2. Only thing is, when I put all the ram in, everything starts up for about 1-2 seconds and then stops.

I am so fed up! Any ideas please?

Possible confliction between them (might use different chips).

Have you Memtest'ed both pairs individually? You may also need to up your chipset voltage and/or lower the Command Rate to 2T for 4 sticks if the board is at 1T.

News is, i can only get 2 working, not even 3. I tried upping the voltage and then changing the timings to 2T.

Please anyone?

(Bearing in mind this is a new system and I have no hardrives in or anything).

Ok, managed to get 3 lots of RAM working (Now have 3gb), when everything is set to auto (setting voltage manually means it doesnt work)...however when I put the 4th stick in, it doesnt work. I tried setting the timing to 2T but to no effect.
