Right, so I've bought all the components that I need to build my PC with.

Before I let myself loose and possibly risk messing things up ha! What would be the best way to ground/earth myself?

Is there something I should be touching before I open any of the boxes with the components or whatever?

Any other building tips would be great as well :)

Thanks :)

I wear an anti-static wrist band but so long as your psu is screwed into your case chassis and the mains lead is connected at the wall and the psu, but switched off, then touching the steel chassis will ground you. The wrist band is the best option though :)

Ground yourself by touching a radiator or the computer case before handling components. I've never bothered with anti static wrist straps, ground yourself first and as you work you'll notice you are pretty much always touching the case as you go

The components usually come in anti-static bags. The outside of the bag is conductive, so don't leave the parts ontop of it, remove them from the bag as and when they are needed.

Video walkthrough of PC build

Linked a video to help give you some more confidence, hope this helps! Good luck with the build........what is the spec out of interest? Pics would be nice too ;)
