Last night, on my way to pick my brother up from town, I very nearly had a crash. I was driving on the straight national limit zone into my local village at about 40mph when i noticed the car infront of me who was driving at about 30mph. I followed him for about 3 seconds before noticing that he was veering off to one side and then back to the other. Then, out of nowhere, He decided to put right lock on and steer into a Brick wall and then freewheel out into the middle of the road again infront of me where i almost drove into him. The front side of the drivers side took most of the impact. His headlights and side panel on the front were smashed in. I phoned the police immediately and explained what had happened. They then sent 2 Patrol cars into the area of the crash to try and find the guy in the van (He continued to drive after the smash) whilst i went to pick my brother up from the town.
I got back home to find my parents standing outside the house waiting for me. With the smashed up van parked opposite our house. After the smash, the guy must have tried driving back to where he came from or something. He decided to stop outside my House in the Lay-by opposite. The police then took him away, according to my parents, to Breathalize him. I am now waiting for the police to turn up my house so i can provide them with a statement with relation to the pointless crash.
