Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2010, Yas Island Marina Circuit - Race 19/19

Well actually, yeah. Maybe I'm wrong, but in most other sports, it usually takes a controversial decision for people to be sore losers. Vettel won, it happened, let's move on.

.

I don't see any sore losers, just people with opinions on what teams should have been and people saying they would rather there man win. Which you get in any sport and not just with controversial situations.

As I said over the last few seasons, the one with most points deserves the wdc doesn't mean I don't think other people/teams could have done something different.

Seriously? I'm not going to go back and find them, but there are plenty of "OH NO NOT VETTEL :(" or "I'm swithing off the telly now!!" comments in this thread. Surely you saw them too?
.

of course I posted one of them. It's not sore losser though. It's your man didn't win.

if people start posting he doesn't deserve it and the like, that's a different matter.
And the Tv thing is because of the very annoying finger more than anything else.

God Eddie is an embarrassment. It's not about fault, DC just wants to know why you give him full marks for doing the only thing he could.. Aggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

yeah why aren't mclaren testing perelli. Surly any data how ever early is better than nothing. Or are they just using their test drivers?

the only thing I can think of, with no testing test drivers will have little intimate knowledge of current tyres and so less pre conceived ideas of how the car should be set up and maybe an advantage of understanding from that.

I understand why he's so fast I just don't get why he falls apart so often for a few laps when it goes a bit wrong or why he can't understand that something is never his fault.
.

I can understand why he asked that question. He was fast and didn't get held up till after vettle pitted. Just vettle did a stunning in lap and the pit crew where faster.

But yes some of his moaning is ridiculous, hopefully he'll understand when he watches the race back.

Sorry guys, I am still not buying this whole "ridiculous track" "awful circuit" stuff.

I will, but for a different reason. To much tarmac and no barriers off the track. But I agree on over talking which the FIA do not seem interesting in solving the real issue, instead keep trying out new ways to introduce it artificially.

we need mechanical grip, engines powerful enough not break that mechanical grip easily and a massive reduction in aero(but for the love of God, no standardised parts, we already have to much of that)

Also where's all the news articles about this. Can't believe I haven't seen those two bantering to the media about the bet and what's going to happen. Although i suppose it's small fry compared to the WDC and once that's calmed down.

As someone else here said, Branson would inevitably enjoy it and turn the whole thing into publicity for himself. At least he is doing it for charity, but it still gets him a load of media attention.

you make it sound like he shouldn't enjoy it and it's a and thing?
It's a fun bet nothing more.

Still laughing at all the plonkers backing Hamilton on here, come on.. it was never going to happen. :D:D

a) it's called gambling, I never go for good odds, what's the point in winning a few £, it's also much much much better chance of it happening than say winning the lottery.
b) more importantly I only did it as the bet is secured, meaning it's a win-win situation.

And you backed Hamilton!

The chance was less, but the pay out substantially more.

What's hard for you to get, some people like me don't go for the favourites as I don't care about a few quid. It's to make a race/game more exciting and IF you win, you win big.
