Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2013, Yas Marina - Race 17/19

I didn't see anything but they seem to be saying he had contact with pic? To be honest from the back if he broke a bit of front wing and had to do a stupid long pitstop in his situation I wouldn't be bothered continuing. Save the engine for a race he can start from the front.

Can't ever remember someone as consistently bad at starting as Webber. He must spend hours practising so god knows why he can't get it to work for him!

Be interesting to see the stats of his net losses/gains at starts over the season, reckon he must lose 2+ places 90% of the races.

bah, Hamilton has had a great start for a few races but because of where he starts and who goes where in front of him he ends up on a poor line being squeezed out :(

Kimi's front right something or other(axle, suspension, wishbone?) broke completely :(

stupid move by kimi, was clearly no space there for him. shame as i was hoping he'd make his way through the pack.

I would say button + new tyres at the back could do the same but there is a Caterham ahead of him :p

It is a bit pathetic that in three years the team and Webber haven't gotten together and fixed his starts, he'd probably end up with 50+% more points if he stopped with the crap starts, less contacts, less trouble, more clear air, less being stuck behind people. But then I just don't really rate him as a driver, Webber has a car that could walk second place in the title at least 3 of the least 4 seasons and has been no where near.

maybe a driver getting paid may have put more thought into the manoeuvre :D
It's a total waste of time trying some banzai move on a caterham or marussia on the first couple of turns. You're like 4 seconds a lap quicker than them you can overtake them anytime you want!

Got the awful feeling that this race is over as something worth watching already.

And no chance of rain to liven it up.

Maybe a safety car will be needed at some point, one can hope.
