Just remember how Covid affected Stroll.

Does affect different people differently though. I think the race is the real test though, it's one thing to deliver a fast lap, it's another to deliver for over an hour and a half non-stop.

True, but Stroll is the one prior data point we have

Lewis has been complaining that his car doesn’t feel the same since Russell drove it. Guessing he’s not 100% and there’s a few items that aren’t quite dialled in.

Either way, it means the Merc will have to pass Crashstappen on track :)

Oh the sound of Alonso’s car, you just can’t beat it.

I was surprised to see him push so hard in a 15 year old machine. Surely it's not as 'tough' as it was factory fresh? Carbon fibre doesn't always age well, and the engine itself... well they weren't super reliable brand new and presumably this one has a few GP under it's belt already, plus they aren't making spare parts any more. Another few dozen laps like that and it'd let go? Or has it been significantly detuned now?

Need Max to actually get off the startline for a change to keep this entertaining, races here are usually snoozefests but least if Bot and Ham are behind something might happen up front.

Quite cool seeing Lewis on a motorbike. I think it'd be fair to say it's safer to be in an F1 car today with the halo than on a bike. Obviously there's still fire risk in the car as Grosjean demonstrated, but crashing a bike or coming off it at 200mph, surely more dangerous?
