Interest that Masi's Event Notes call particular attention to this regulation:

Article 12.4.5
“For all the FIA Championships, cups, challenges, trophies or series, the stewards may also decide to impose the following penalties: Suspension for one or more Competitions, withdrawal of points for the Championship, cup, challenge, trophy, series.”

Can't think why he felt the need to do that.

Horner said that Max is the better driver in an interview yesterday.....

LMAO

I'm sorry, but Max has a long way to go before he can be compared favourably to Lewis in terms of overall driving ability.

Lewis is a near 37 year old 7 time world champion with the best overall stats of any driver ever. Max is VERY quick, but there is no way anyone with a brain can say he is the better driver at this point. Its laughable. Especially after the last few races as well , where he has been an absolute clown.

From Reddit:

[Motorsport Turkey] A nasty surprise awaited the teams and Pirelli in Abu Dhabi. Following the renovations at Yas Marina, Losail-like kerbs were used. As Pirelli was not warned about this, there is a new uncertainty about the weekend. [1/2, 2nd tweet in the comments]

That could make things interesting — not least pushing other drivers wide going into corners!

Has that been in any of the other race notes?

It's not normally included, no. I wouldn't want to claim it's never been included before, but it's certainly unusual.

It wasn't in the 2019 or 2020 event notes for Abu Dhabi.
I would like to think MadMax has been told unofficially “max you’re driving is borderline and we won’t hesitate to dock points if we think you have done something on purpose” and the race notes are reiterating that

The FIA are good at making threats of punishment for misbehaviour on track, not so good at carrying them out.

I bet Mercedes are not happy. Like I said earlier, they've obviously decided that getting round Max on the outside is the "safest" as you can get out of the whole situation when he does his Hulk impression slash twelve-year-old-in-a-F1-2021-lobby impression. If going over the curbs is going to wreck the car, that makes things very difficult.

Would like to see a poll also of who do people WANT to win... Personally its same driver for me but many people do like a driver they might think has little chance... ;)

I’d like Max to win a totally clean race with no shenanigans from any party.

If Max is going to make more shady/outright dangerous moves, I want Lewis to give him the Silverstone treatment and disappear into the distance.

To be completely honest, I don't think Max knows how to race clean. His default "autonomic" reaction is to do whatever it takes (rules irrelevant) to stop anyone passing him. He's definitely one of the real talents of the Next Generation but for me he'll never be a good champion until he can control himself. Lando is arguably as quick, George too, Charles for sure (but occasionally runs drivers off the track). I'd rate all of them at level of Max WITHOUT the dangerous tendencies).
