Access 2007 % Question

Hey all

This probably has a really easy answer but when I change an attribute to the % format and I try to type in say 25 to get 25% it just shows up as 0%.

I've tried typing in the decimal of it so 0.25 but still shows up as 0%. I'm not really getting it here.

Am I being stupid here as it just doesn't seem to work. If I type in between 200 and 249 it'll make 200%.

In field properties, change the field type to 'Single' or 'Double' instead of the default 'Long Integer'.
